Meet Sam Cook.

Sam Cook launched her career in New York City as an intern on The Late Show with David Letterman. After returning to Canada, she became a recognizable face on television as a co-host of the hit ’90s series “Uh Oh!” on YTV and Discovery Kids - now set to return to Boomerang Canada in January 2026.

A respected radio personality, Sam has hosted shows on major Toronto stations including Kiss 92.5 FM, Energy 95.3 FM, and Country 95.3 FM, building a reputation for strong on-air presence and audience connection.

Today, Sam is a sought-after professional voice talent, with clients that include Virgin Mobile, Sony Music Canada, MuchMusic, Cineplex, Honda, OWN Network, and the Canadian Country Music Awards.

Her work extends beyond voiceover and radio. Sam created and hosted the weekly web series Sam Cook Live, which is available on YouTube and podcast platforms. She also served as host and co-executive producer of the popular show The Shot. A former CFL Hamilton Tiger-Cats Cheerleader, Sam continues to evolve her career, with new projects on the horizon for 2026.

Sam lived in New York City and interned for THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN. She worked in the ticket office, scouted for "Stupid Human and Pet Tricks" and worked in production.

Sam has been working as a radio personality in Southern Ontario for over a decade. Some of the stations she has worked at include Country 95.3FM, Energy 95.3FM, 102.1 The Edge, 102.9 KLite and KX 94.7FM. — Sam is a well-known radio personality working at many Southern Ontario stations including: Country 95.3FM, Energy 108, 102.1 The Edge and KX 94.7FM.

Sam has worked as the “Meet & Greet Coordinator” for the Boots and Hearts Festival. Some of the talent she coordinated included: Brad Paisley, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Dallas Smith, Sam Hunt and Chris Stapleton.

Sam sat on the PR Committee for the 2015 Juno Awards which took place in Hamilton, ON.

Did you know Sam was a Talent Wrangler for several Music Music Video Awards (now called the MMVAs)? She was responsible for many musicians and celebrities over the years including Bryan Adams!
