Sam began her radio career in Toronto, working overnights at major-market station, Kiss 92.5 FM. She later joined Energy FM, where she earned the nickname “Diva of the Evening.” Following the station’s format change in 2003, Sam transitioned to Country 95.3 FM, where she remained on air for the next seven years.

Over the course of her career, Sam has also filled in on several well-known Southern Ontario radio stations, including Y108 (Hamilton), 102.1 The Edge (Toronto), 102.9 K-Lite FM (Hamilton), and KX 94.7 FM (Hamilton).

Her experience spans all dayparts, including mornings, mid-days, drive, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

In 2013, Sam founded Ignite Radio, an online Top 40 internet radio station created as a hands-on learning platform for students at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. She played a key leadership role in developing the station and its programming, helping shape the next generation of broadcasters.
