Sam started her radio career overnights at a major market radio station Kiss 92.5FM in Toronto. She moved on to Energy FM where she was nicknamed "Diva of the Evening." Energy FM switched formats in 2003 to Country 95.3FM where Sam remained for the next 7 years.

She has also worked at other popular radio stations like Y108 (Hamilton), 102.1 The Edge (Toronto), 102.9 K-Lite FM (Hamilton) and KX 94.7FM (Hamilton).

Sam has experience in all dayparts including Mornings, Mid-Days, Drive, Evenings, Overnights and Weekends.

In 2013, Sam created an online Top 40 internet radio station called Ignite Radio for students at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. She is currently the Program Director at that station.
